| Hi shaun and rod, I watched the programme as well and id love to know how many rooms you guys have managed to get done. I understand its hard work and you will get there I wish you guys all the best .Just as a matter of interest ive just read on trip advisor that there was trouble at your hotel at the weekend with a group of stag party's .Good luck and i hope you guys do well Cheers mazza |
| Our Reply : Dear Mazza, We are moving forward with the rooms more are done and more are being worked on as one is complete another is started so we are gradual y getting through them. Regarding the weekend just to let you know we do not take stag or hen parties but yes we had a few lads in at the weekend but unfortunately they could not hold there beer so I had them removed as our guests are our main priority and if others choose to try and disrupt others then they have to leave. | Hi guys, just seen your programme on demand on BT vision. Used to run a pub with my husband in Middlesbrough and used to get fantastic parmesans from a place that stayed open all night (can't remember the name but they did great onion rings as well lol), hope yours are as good. He is running a pub in Lytham St Annes now so next time I visit I will come to yours for a parmesan. I never would have known about your place if it hadn't been for the Channel 4 programme so think it may have done you more good than harm. Keep up the good work as I know how very hard it is. |

| Hi Rod and Shaun, Just watched the TV show - loved it and I will come and stay when I am next in blackpool. One question? Shaun, (or was it Rob), the one in the glasses who did the spa's - How old are you, as it says you work on cruises for 20 years, so you either started when you were a child, or you look danm good for your age so the spa treatments must be working! ;-) |
| Our Reply : Hi Bryan Lee Thanks for you e-mail we look forward to your visit and thanks for the complement I was 23 when I went on ships and yes I was on there for 20yrs as Senior Spas Director then I was the General Manager for another Spa company on ships. Loved the work and yes the treatments work but they are not my priority in the hotel as most of my time is taken up in other areas, but I do have regular clients mostly other business clients and hoteliers. Please get in touch when you want to come stay would love to see you at the hotel. Rod |

| Saw the programme on TV and well done with what you are achieving with your hotel. Reading the comments here from guests I noticed that no one mentioned your spa and treatments, how is that going, is anyone having any treatments? Good luck with the future. |
| Our Reply : Hi Richard, I do have clients use the Spa mainly locals or other Hoteliers during the week. The Spa was not due to be opened for another 12 months as our main aim all along was getting rooms done and the restaurant open. The Spa as always been a bonus to the hotel but was pushed to be completed for the TV and viewing purposes. Have great reports from the treatment especially Oxyjet but as i said regular local love the treatments. Hope if you are ever in Blackpool you come pay us a visit. Rod & Shaun |

| Watched the programme last night and scanned your website. Your photo gallery doesn't seem to work so it was difficult to see any more than the single photo of the refurbished room. OK, I suppose, for anyone willing to take a chance that they'll get the refurbed room - but you'll never progress when you can't accept professional criticism. Why not just open a spa - you obviously have little interest in the hotel business. |
| Our Reply : Hi Dave, Sorry you had trouble looking at the Gallery I have checked it and have no problems myself but I have had our web designer look into it so thank you for bringing our attention to the problem. Obviously you do not no me or my brother because if you did you would no that we work 24 hours a day running the business and our business plan which the TV no about states clearly that our goal for the first 2 years is to get the rooms and the restaurant open. The Spa was my past career and was not planned till next year. Obviously you are a guy who believes all that you see shame why not visit the hotel and see for yourself don't judge till you witness first hand the TV can edit and show what they want people to see??? | Hi Rod and Shaun Just had to get in touch after your Channel 4 show. I was pleased to see many other people are getting in touch too! Don't think Ruth really knows Blackpool does she? She was a bit hard on occasions. I have not been to your place but I know the street well, if you had taken the canopies away entirely people wouldn't have been able to see for the brightness in that room from the sun flooding in. Yes the sun really does shine more than people realise in Blackpool! I am a long term fan of Blackpool and my return over the last few years is because of my grand daughter who is now another Blackpool fan! Anyway what I wanted to ask was are members of the public allowed in your restuarant yet (or when?) cause I can't wait to try the 'parmisan' dish. Perhaps you should register it as your own before someone else copies it? Just a marketing thought! I did notice the people who tried it enjoyed it but I will have to wait until next year as have already had my Blackpool quota for this year! All the best with your new venture. |
| Our Reply : Dear Josephine, Yes the public can use the hotel and the restaurant has been open since June mainly on a weekend as this is the busy time but as we get busier with the public and locals we will extend the days. Our guests love the Parmesans to and so far they have been a hit with all that have tried them shame Ruth did not try them herself before she criticised them. Next time you are visiting Blackpool please let us know and come try the parmesans for yourself. Rod & Shaun |

| Hey guys, just posted a comment on Channel 4 stating your case but they are filtered and, just like the show, they'll only show what makes them look good and gets the ratings. Ruth was very rude and unprofessional to a certain extent and the programme did you no justice. We've got every confidence that if Ruth came back in 2 years she'd eat her words . . . but we couldn't make her look bad now could we?! Keep up the hard word. |
| Our Reply : Dear Mrs Smith, Thank you for your e-mail we no the truth and so do our guests we all no it was to make Ruth look good and in fact they did great editing as they were not Ruth's Ideas either but the ones we gave channel 4 before they did the program.
